PARAT NG Escape Hoods by Dräger / Draeger / Drager
The Draeger PARAT NG Escape Hoods were developed in cooperation with users always with the focus on offering the fastest possible escape. Enhanced operation and wearing comfort, a tough housing and a proven filter system guarantees that the wearer of the Drager PARAT NG Escape Hoods are protected.
Drager PARAT escape hoods are intended to be effortlessly put on and shield workers from toxic industrial and combustion / Fire related smoke, gases, vapors and particles for at least fifteen minutes.
The Draeger PARAT is effortlessly used in an emergency. When the case is opened, the filter plug automatically discharges and the filter moves into operational position so the escape hood can be immediately put on. The self adjusting interior head harness necessitates no added tightening.
The high performance combination filter dependably guards against a wide range of toxic industrial gases, vapors and particles. The packet contains a security seal that shows whether the unit has been opened. In addition, the filter is tightly sealed with 2 filter plugs.
By replacing the filter on the 5500 and 7500 models after 8 years, you can prolong the service life of the Draeger PARAT Escape Hoods to 16 years.

Exceptionally innovative and intuitive: When opening the packaging, the filter plug is automatically released from the filter. The filter is then deployed into operational position and the hood can be immediately donned. Thanks to the self-adjusting internal head harness, no additional tightening is required. All you have to do is: open the packaging, remove and don the hood – and leave the danger zone.

Both, ergonomics and wearing comfort were considered when designing the packaging of the Dräger PARAT Escape Hoods. The escape hood can be carried with a belt, shoulder strap, grip clip or belt clip. The PARAT Hard Case can also be mounted on the wall using a wallholder. Additionally, the robust packaging of the Dräger PARAT Escape Hoods protects the device from damage.
You can select between two packaging types: The Hard Case provides splash water protection – the Soft Pack provides dust protection. Both packaging types have a viewing window to check the filter expiration date and the condition of the device.
