The ground-breaking Draeger X-act 7000 analysis system comprises Draeger MicroTubes and an optoelectronic analysis unit that lets you precisely measure gases in the low parts per billion (ppb) range. The Draeger X-act 7000 delivers precise results right on site. This replaces slow and costly lab analysis. It's tremendously easy to use, simply insert the Draeger MicroTubes, begin measuring, then examine the test result.
Concentrations of dangerous substances in ambient work area air must never surpass the well-defined limits. Monitoring these sometimes extremely small concentration levels is a responsible job. The Draeger X-act 7000 in conjunction with Draeger MicroTubes is focused on measuring carcinogenic and toxic substances in the low parts per billion (ppb) range. This sensitive analysis arrangement is grounded on colorimetric chemical sensors. These can substitute for conventional laboratory examination and deliver precise results right on site.
The material specific reactive layers and numerous prelayers in the Draeger MicroTubes permit specific gas analysis. The numerous layers act as a filter. Throughout testing they filter out additional materials that arise in the workplace so that only the target gas is shown in the test result. This significantly removes cross sensitivities and decreases the amount of false/positive test results and alarms.
The RFID tags adhered to the Draeger MicroTubes hold all the calibration information that apply during their standard lifetime of 1 year. This removes the requirement for long function assessments and manual calibration. Because it works based on mass flow measurement, air pressure variations do not impact on the unit.
All likely temperature and humidity effects have already been accounted for during the factory calibration. The X-act 7000 analyzer is explosion proof and certified under ATEX IECEx for Zone 0. The analyzer is also dust and splash resilient in accordance with IP54. It similarly meets the requirements for electromagnetic compatibility under EN 50270.
After an automatic self-test, the analyzer is instantly prepared for use. It is appropriate for testing with all existing Draeger MicroTubes. Merely insert the correct MicroTube for your testing requirements. The automatic drive easily pulls the MicroTube in and situates it. You regulate the testing via the three-button control and 2.4” color display. As the test finishes, the green LED will illuminate, and a message will be seen on the screen. The X-act 7000 analyzer can store the test result, time and location in the internal data logger and deliver later using the Draeger CC Vision software. The X-act 7000 analyzer is driven by 5 effortlessly replaceable typical batteries. The battery life continues for more than 10 hours of testing and is displayed on the screen.
Using the coupler connector piece (Par # 8610810) the Draeger X-am Pump can be modified to the X-act 7000. This permits the user to test for toxic and carcinogenic substances in the parts per billion (ppb) range, even in areas not easily accessible like ducts, pipe or tanks up to 147.6 feet (45 meters). Because the X-am Pump is also certified explosion-proof for Zone 0, it is ideally matched for these duties.
Each set of MicroTubes, can perform ten tests in succession. The concentrations of dangerous materials are shown on the analyzers’ display. Specific MicroTubes can even permit the user to complete tests in the parts per billion (ppb) range.
